Shipping and Returns

How long does it take for my order to ship?

Your order will be shipped within 2 business days, but typically order are turned around in 1 business day. 

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

All orders are shipped using the FedEx Smartpost service.  This service is delivered to your local post office by FedEx, then delivered to your home by USPS.  Depending on where you live in the country, this can take between 3 to 10 days.

Where will my order ship from and what service is used?

All orders will ship from our warehouse in Mount Juliet, TN, and typically orders will ship using the FedEx Smartpost service.  This service ships the package using FedEx to your local post office, then the Post Office will make final delivery.  

Is it possible to expedite my shipping?

Yes.  Simply email us through our customer service email account, jennibowlin@gmail.com, and let us know you'd like your package to ship via expedited services.  We will respond with the corresponding cost of the services and await your instruction.  If you decide to have your order expedited we will send you an invoice via paypal or square, and once that is paid, we can proceed with your shipment.

Does JBS Mercantile ship internationally?

Currently we are not setup to ship internationally because of the prohibitive shipping cost.  However, if you are interested in ordering, just email us at jennibowlin@gmail.com and let us know what products you were interested in.  We will send you the estimated shipping cost and you can let us know if you would like to proceed with your order.  If you accept the estimated shipping, we will package the order, prepare it for shipping via the US Postal Service, then send you an invoice via Paypal or Square to be paid prior to shipping.  We will not alter the stated value of the shipment to save on import taxes, so please, do not ask.  International shipments are not eligible for exchanges or refunds.

Can I return my purchase for a refund?

Due to the age and uniqueness of vintage and antique products they are rarely in perfect condition.  Due to this fact, vintage and antique products are not eligible for return. 

New and handmade items are eligible for return if they arrive to you in a damaged condition.  In order to receive a refund for a damaged product you must notify us at info@jbsmercantile.com within 24 hours of receipt of your order describing the damaged product.  The product must be in the original packaging and in the same condition when received.  Pictures of the damage are required to be sent to receive a refund or replaced product. 

Damaged items must be returned to JBS Mercantile at 1814 Tate Lane, Mt. Juliet, TN 37122.  Once received the JBS Mercantile staff will make the final determination of the eligibility of the return.  Assuming the return is accepted, the credit card used for your order will be credited.

If you prefer to exchange a damaged item instead of receiving a refund, please indicate that in your initial damaged product email.
